What guests check most often before booking a Korean BBQ table here.
Frequently asked questions
Booking, hours, rooms and corkage — what people planning a Korean BBQ here ask on the phone most often.
How do I make a reservation?
Book through CatchTable or call 0507-1324-1774. HOHWA has no open dining floor — only 13 private rooms — so booking ahead is strongly recommended. English-language reservations are handled on the CatchTable Global page.
What are the opening hours?
Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30–21:30, with a break from 15:00 to 18:00. Last order is 20:30. The restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays; through October 2026 that closure applies every Sunday and Monday. Hours from November onwards should be confirmed with the restaurant.
How much do the courses cost?
At lunch: Sotbap Bansang ₩39,000, Bulgogi Jeongol Bansang ₩59,000, Hanwoo Galbi Selection ₩79,000 and Hanwoo Jjak Galbi ₩99,000. At dinner: Bohwa 寶華 ₩129,000 and Yeonghwa 榮華 ₩169,000. The signature HOHWA 豪華 course is eleven plates at ₩199,000. All prices are per person, exactly as printed on the menu card.
Are there private rooms? How large a group can you take?
HOHWA is made up of 13 private rooms with no open floor, so every booking is a room. The rooms are used for dates, anniversaries, family dinners, meeting the in-laws, business entertaining and group gatherings. Room capacity for your party size is shown when booking on CatchTable, or ask the restaurant directly.
Is corkage allowed?
Corkage is free. The menu card lists no separate drinks or alcohol; the dinner and signature courses open with a welcome tea.
Can I bring children?
Yes. Order any course and the kids’ menu is free for children aged 7 and under. High chairs are available.
Can I order just the meat, without a course?
Yes — you can have the Korean BBQ without the course. Seven cuts of 1++ Hanwoo are sold by weight à la carte: boneless short rib 120g ₩60,000, outside skirt 120g ₩79,000, neck tender / tosi-sal / inside skirt each 120g ₩55,000, short ribs 150g ₩45,000 and brisket 120g ₩45,000. Seolya-myeok galbi and nuruk-sogeum galbi are ₩40,000 for 300g each.
Where does the beef come from?
All seven à la carte cuts are domestic Korean Hanwoo. Seolya-myeok galbi and nuruk-sogeum galbi use US short ribs, and the seasoned galbi sotbap uses US rib finger meat. The scallop in Saebit Jogak is from Japan and the pollock roe in the chanterelle rib dish is from Russia. Rice comes from Gimpo and soybeans from Paju, both in Korea.
Which station is closest?
Jonggak Station on Line 1 is about a 5-minute walk (300 m). Jongno 3-ga Station (Lines 1, 3, 5) is roughly 7 minutes and Anguk Station on Line 3 about 9 minutes. The address is B2, 18 Jong-ro 11-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul — inside the G1 Seoul building.
Do you have English-speaking staff?
No staff member is a dedicated foreign-language speaker. General assistance is given with translation tools, and English reservations go through CatchTable Global. The menu card is printed in both Korean and English.
What do you recommend to visitors from abroad?
Seoul-style bulgogi, the Hanwoo grill and the pot rice (sotbap). The 1++ Seoul-style bulgogi is part of Dinner Course A and is also available as the Bulgogi Jeongol Bansang set (₩59,000) or à la carte (₩40,000).
Is there parking?
Parking is listed among the facilities on the restaurant’s Naver Place entry. HOHWA is on B2 of the G1 Seoul building; please confirm parking conditions with the restaurant before you visit.
